The goal of this project is to consider how family relationships helped shape the characters in some of the most beloved films about teenagers from the 1980s.

Therapist Comment:

  • If Andrew’s father is focused his son’s success, what is he not focused on?

  • What could Andrew learn about his father (and vice versa) if father and son could have a mature and calm discussion?
